Description
We all know that green tea is like a rehab centre in a cup but we also think it tastes nasty, right? WRONG!! All the best things in life are gentle and in need of loving care and green tea is no exception. It tends to get a little startled under boiling water and starts releasing funny flavours - at 85 degrees though, wow, smooth, tasty and refreshing!
You wouldn't put your best cashmere in at 100 degrees would you? Remember this next time you make a pot of the green stuff...
Brewing
We like to use 1 tablespoon of tea per cup, infused for 3 to 4 minutes in water at about 85 degrees (listen for your kettle starting to bubble).
Ingredients
Chinese Yunnan
How Many Brews??
You get 50g of our amazing loose leaf tea. With good "tea management" skills this should get you about 15 cups of the good stuff.
