Description
This famous tea takes its name from Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey, who was gifted a box of tea flavoured with bergamot oil.
The donor of the tea is unknown but two legends prevail. Some say that Grey's men saved the child of an Indian Raja from a tiger, others that Grey's men saved the son of a Chinese Mandarin from drowning! Either way Charles seems like a great guy to name a tea after!
For our blend we've added orange peel and calendula to give an amazingly refreshing citrus twist.
Brewing
We like to use 1 tablespoon per cup, infused for 2 to 3 minutes in freshly boiled water.
